Serendipity

I was searching for a message and yours popped up.

Re-reading the convo, I realised you kind of set what I look for in a guy now. I need someone who betters me, and that was what you were trying to do in those messages. I was too self-centred to see the bigger picture. If then was now, I would have listened to you and treasure you so much more.

But this is only perfect if you were in the past and I in the present. And we are a thing of the past now. It is a good memory and a regret that I can never forget.

No other guys will be like you I know that, thank you for making me realise what I need.
